Project Manager, Value Chain development specialist in South East Asia for sustainable tourism, agriculture and handicrafts products
Currently serving as International Coordinator for UNOPS on a part time basis and is an advising partner of aa Lao non for profit association. He also works as an independent consultant for various international organizations.
He graduated from La Sorbonne University in Paris as an Economist in 2002 (international economics with a minor in development economics and economies in transition) and specialized later through a post-graduate studies program on intercultural management in South East Asia.
His main background is on project management with a strong focus on trade and private sector development in areas such as sustainable tourism, agriculture and handicraft. He is skilled at developing workable solutions for the poor (M4P) and linking SME’s to international markets.
As a project manager, he has managed portfolios ranging from 1 MUSD to 7 MUSD for international organizations such as the International Trade Center (ITC – UNCTAD/WTO), UNOPS. He has worked specifically on value chains development for SNV, Helvetas and Asia Foundation among others, in products such as bamboo, cassava, organic vegetables and handicrafts.
His regional experience covers: Lao PDR, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and Southern part of China.
