Marion Kersgens-Leuchter is an economist with a 14 year experience in development cooperation.

Her work focuses on issues of private sector development, such as SME development, value chain promotion and public private partnerships (PPP). After having been involved as project manager in an international consulting firm for eight years, she has since been working as an independent consultant for GTZ and other donor organisations.

In her function as freelance expert, Ms. Kersgens is, among others, associated with IDC Aachen.

She is fluent in English, French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
