Stephan Kunz has worked as a senior consultant in the context of sustainable value chains for different government and non-government organisations as well as for the private sector. Main sectors are food, textiles and furniture. He has more than 25 years’ experience in Asia and Africa. In addition he is knowledgeable about various quality standards in the relevant sectors. He considers the access of small holders into the formal market as the main challenge in the context of value chains. His main focus is on qualification along the supply chain integrating also technical and marketing aspects within value chain activities. Multi-stakeholder alliances are another expertise. In addition he has developed and implemented various develoPPP.de with European companies in Asia.
