Program Coordinator; Representative of ECLOSIO in Asia; Senior rural development specialist/ socio-economist, 35 years overseas field experiences focusing on natural resources management, sustainable agriculture production, and in small-scale farmers’ socio-economic development. He worked in many Asian and Middle-East countries for International Agencies and as private consultant.
Currently based in ECLOSIO Headquarters (www.eclosio.ong) at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech in Belgium, he supports its programs in West Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Referent in value-chain promotion, in water-energy- food related themes, and in multi-stakeholder articulation, he assists in setting up projects, their implementation and in the strategic development of the institution. Representative of ECLOSIO in Cambodia, he assists the strategic implementation of Eclosio actions in the South-East Asia region.
He is a ValueLinks Trainer; he assisted and organized ValueLinks trainings workshops in Belgium, Cambodia and Senegal. He implemented value-chain analyses, promotion, and development for grain and horticultural crops, livestock, and forest products in Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Egypt, Benin, and Senegal. His working language is English and French, with limited ability to work in Khmer and Arabic.
