BALZON, Tatiana
GIZ-Brazil, Technical Advisor in the Biodiversity, Forest and Climate Program, expert in Value Chains Development, Traditional Peoples and Rural Communities and in Bioeconomy of the Amazon.
Tatiana Balzon works as an advisor in the Green Markets and Sustainable Consumption Project (GIZ-Brazil) and has already worked in other GIZ projects such as: Technical Cooperation Project in the Amazon and Sustainable Businesses. Her background is in Economics and she has extensive professional experience in value chains development, such as nuts, natural oils, açai, fibers, fish, wood, handicrafts, tourism, etc., impact monitoring, public policies to support commercialization and policies for traditional peoples.
During her professional career, she was a member of the team that adapted the ValueLinks methodology to the ValueLinks-B (Biodiversity). She led several workshops for mapping socio-biodiversity value chains and also has experience with training of trainers of ValueLinks methodology.
