Claudius Bredehöft´s background is Agronomy with specialization in Agricultural Trade. He gained experience in the private sector as global export manager for seed before starting a career in the international development cooperation. With GIZ he coordinated different projects in the field of Agriculture, Food Security, Biodiversity and Transition Aid in South East Asia. In East Africa he coordinated projects in the field of agricultural mechanization, digitalization and renewable energy in cooperation with national and international companies. He currently promotes productive forest landscapes in the colombian amazon.

His regional experience covers Europe, South East Asia, Latin America, North and East Africa.
