European agronomist with long experience in food supply chain management, food safety and quality assurance programmes and marketing of agricultural products. International experience in Africa, Mediterranean countries, Central Asia, Pacific Islands and the Balkans region, with contribution to projects of major international donors: FAO, IFAD, TWB, GIZ, DANIDA, EU, USAID.
Value chain analysis skills have been developed in year of experience with the business community, working with agri-food SMEs and facilitating SME and agricultural co-operatives and producer organisations networking, marketing and quality systems’ implementation.
Delivery of several trainings on food quality management and contributions to research programmes on food quality complete the experience in quality management acquired in almost ten years of auditing and inspecting food and agricultural companies against the major quality and food safety standards, such as IFS, HACCP, Global-GAP, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2005.
Currently director of Moving Borders Ltd., company for services to the agri-food sector based in Skopje (Macedonia).
Recent developments in value chain analysis give dedicated focus to the cultural sides of the rural communities involved in value chains and their governance. Adoption the own-developed “Regional Icons of Economy” model to analyse the identity of value chains and their relations with the local communities.
