As head of inland fisheries and aquaculture services in the Department of Water and Forests in Morocco, with more than ten years of experience, Dr. Mohamed Badr Laamiri has had the opportunity to carry out assignments mainly focusing on reconciling sustainable natural resource management with economic and social development.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), he has acquired solid skills in project management methodologies. Since 2015, he has put into practice ValueLinks for the development of value chains linked to inland fisheries and aquaculture within the framework of pilot projects supported by GIZ.
He developed his knowledge at the Universities of Sherbrooke (MBA) and Quebec (Master of Science in Project Management), as well as by following a specialization in aquaculture at the University of Liège in Belgium. He also teaches courses at the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute.
