Agronomist with professional experience in Africa and Ozeania. Food security, rural development, value chain promotion, organizational development, natural resource management, inclusive business & development partnership promotion.
Rainer Ratsch holds a M.Sc. (Dipl.Ing.agr.) in Agriculture from the University of Hohenheim and a MBA from the Open University, Milton Keynes, UK. He has a long-standing working experience in Africa, Ozeania and Europe in the private sector and the German Development Cooperation. He worked with the GIZ in Ghana for the Market Oriented Agricultural Programme (MOAP) in the areas of value chain development, adapted cooperative development, inclusive business promotion and capacity building.
His working languages are German and English with skills in French and Portuguese.
