EILIGMANN, Alfons

Lead trainer on ValueLinks and consultant on value chain promotion. Founding member and long-term board member of the International ValueLinks Association e.V.

He graduated from the University of Goettingen as an agricultural economist in 1987 and specialises as a consultant on trade and investment promotion since over 30 years. His main background is on organising trade fair participations, linking SME’s to international markets and coaching value chain promotion projects. He has particular experience in transforming agri-food systems and the handicraft sector.

As a lead trainer for ValueLinks, he facilitated more than 130 one-week ValueLinks training workshops with about 3,000 participants in 20 countries. In addition, he qualified about 200 ValueLinks trainers as a master trainer in more than 25 ValueLinks ToT-workshops. He organises own ValueLinks trainings in Germany, Africa and Asia, as well as virtul online seminars using MS Teams as a platform (www.idc-aachen.de).

He provides customized in-country trainings, VC project planning and coaching upon request. He facilitates multi-stakeholder VC workshops and prepares comprehensive VC studies as a basis for project implementation.
